Our Terms

T&C’s:

This website is operated by York Swirling Soapery. I have listed below the terms & conditions that you accept when you use this website. If you cannot agree with any of these terms and conditions you should not use this website.

Purchases, Pricing and Charges:

You are responsible in ensuring that your order is correct and contains everything you need at the time of purchasing. The information that you provide must be accurate and relate to you.

I may not be able to change an order once it has been received and/ or combine shipping on orders placed separately. I also reserve the right to cancel any order awaiting dispatch (and process a full refund) without prior notice should I deem it necessary.

The prices on our website are in £ (pounds sterling) and do include VAT (Value added tax). The cost of the different postage options are disclosed at check out. All prices are subject to change at any time and without prior notice.

We accept PayPal as well as credit/ debit card payments and Apple Pay via Square.

Payment must be made in full before we ship any orders.

Any Customs and Duties charges that arise are payable by you.

If you are ordering from overseas please contact us directly before placing your order.

Due to Brexit, I regrettably cannot currently ship to the EU or Northern Ireland. Any orders received will unfortunately be cancelled.

Cancellations and Returns:

All customers have the right to cancel their order by emailing confirmation of your intent to cancel the order with 7 days of placing the order. Customers cancelling their order(s) may return items within 14 days of contacting us to receive a full refund on the receipt of the products, as long as they remain in a merchantable condition and in their original packaging. The customer is liable for the cost of returning the goods unless those goods were sent or received in error.

Products or orders that arrive damaged or incomplete - you must advise us of the issue within 7 days of receipt. Damaged goods will be replaced free of charge subject to availability. If we cannot replace the product like for like a suitable alternative of equivalent value shall be offered in its stead, or the option of a full refund. Missing products will either be shipped as soon as possible or refunded depending on availability of the product depending on the customer’s choice.

Refunds will not be issued for products damaged by you, the consumer.

GDPR and Privacy:

Your information is used and held by us (York Swirling Soapery) for the sole purpose of completing orders received. All personal data needed is held securely. To process payments made on the website we also use Square, a 3rd party company who processes web based card payments and Apple Pay.

York Swirling Soapery will never share or sell access to your information or pass it on to any other 3rd party for any reason without giving you the right to decline.

Legislation, Regulation and Liability:

All Products sold by York Swirling Soapery are fully compliant with UK and EU Cosmetic Regulations and as such have been safety assessed by cosmetic experts in accordance with regulations and law and have had cosmetic safety reports produced for each product. I’m also fully insured so you can trust that what you order is safe for you and your loved ones.

All Images, text, recipes and products – including descriptions are the property of York Swirling Soapery. You cannot duplicate, distribute or use any information without our consent. We will take legal action against any persons found to be misusing our intellectual property.

All sales are subject to the legislation of the United Kingdom.
